The “Austrian Association for Policy Consulting and Development” (ÖGPP) is organised as a non profit organization, the goal of which is to further the general intellectual and political level of the public by engaging in basic problems of policy counselling and development and on existing trends and future developments. That means: we analyse the past and look into the future. We investigate into policies, trends and developments and draw conclusions on the future.

Aims and rules of our activities have been laid down in our Statutes.

The president of our society is Mr Rudolf Schicker, technical university engineer, vice-president is Dr Gerhard Steger, university lecturer, executive director is Dr Andreas Höferl. Seat of the society is Vienna.

The society started to work mid 2001. Beginning from the year 2002, the society has employed several scientific collaborators.

They are at present: Veronika Adensamer, Dr.Werner T. Bauer, Dr. Andreas Höferl, Bela M. Hollos, MA Michael David Huber and Iris Simsa.
